Project: W & H Solar Ventures – Solwezi Solar Power Plant

Project Summary

Frost Projects was engaged to deliver full feasibility, engineering, and project development services for a grid-tied solar + battery system in Solwezi, Zambia. The project aims to supply dependable renewable energy to the Zambian grid through a 12.2MWp solar plant with 4.8MWh of battery storage, tying in at 330kV via the Kalumbila Mine substation.

We provided detailed financial modelling, regulatory support, and full system design to bring the project to shovel-ready status. Our involvement extends into technical execution under a signed engineering services contract.
